Centro Canino Lerma is made up of top-level training professionals located in Lerma, led by Alberto Martínez and his sons Lucas and Iker Martínez, all of whom are passionate about dogs, especially German Shepherds.
Training
Sports training is a very demanding sport, involving many hours of training. It does not depend solely on your work and effort, but rather on the “pairing” (guide-dog).
Alberto Martínez
Canine Training Instructor for the Royal Canine Society of Spain and the Royal German Shepherd Dog Club for over 20 years.
In 2021, he received the Gold Badge of Honour from the Royal Canine Society of Spain for his career as a member of the organisation.
Over the last 30 years, he has actively participated in various courses and seminars on Sports Training Techniques, both nationally and internationally.
Official judge and tracer in several Spanish Championships organised by the Royal Spanish Sheepdog Club (Real CEPPA) from 2003 to the present day, in selective and club trials, as well as having collaborated in various Spanish Championships.
It should be noted that Alberto Martínez is a Working Dog and Utility Dog Judge for the Royal Spanish German Shepherd Dog Club and a renowned breeder of working German Shepherds at national and international level, with his affix “Vom Zugvogel”.

Lucas Martínez
At just 24 years of age, Lucas Martínez is an Official Member of the Royal Spanish German Shepherd Dog Club, as well as being actively involved in training. He has turned his passion for dogs into his way of life, both nationally and internationally.
They are members of the Vom Zugvogel Canine Association, where they enjoy spending time with their family, Iker, Maribel and Destiny, and share their love and respect for dogs with other enthusiasts.
Centro Canino Lerma is run by a family of professionals with more than 30 years of experience in the canine sector and, above all, with extensive experience as trainers and breeders, not only of German Shepherds, but also Toy Poodles, Shih Tzus, Dachshunds, etc.
